Riverside FFA Chapter
Supervised Agriculture Experience
What is a SAE?
Members of the Riverside FFA Chapter develop their supervised agriculture experience programs in a variety of ways. First year members, develop their career interests through the exploratory SAE. Students have the opportunity to develop their science and analytical skills through a research SAE. Several members work for someone else, whether it is an established firm or simply a family member, using a placement SAE. Through entrepreneurship activities, members can own and operate some type of agriculture enterprise. A key aspect to a Supervised Agriculture Experience program is that members are not limited to just one program area.
