Riverside FFA Advances to State in Parliamentary Procedure

The Riverside FFA Chapter placed second at the West Tennessee Parliamentary Procedure Career Development Event on December 10, 2009.  The event was held at Liberty High School.  The top two teams in each region advance to the state CDE which will be held at the Tennessee State FFA Convention.  This is the first time in 20 years that Riverside has advanced and only the second time in the history of the Riverside FFA Chapter's 45 year history to advance to state in this event.  Team members are Ashley Goodman, Emily Keeton, Ellis Bagley, Chelsea Moses, Brianna Donnelon, and Will Crosby.  Congrats to the team and Good luck at state!

20^th Annual Riverside FFA Alumni Auction

The 20^th Annual Riverside FFA Alumni Auction was held on November 21, 2009 at the Riverside High School Cafeteria.  Over $7,500 was raised to support FFA members.  Funds from the auction will be utilized to establish a leadership fund for Riverside FFA members to have opportunity to develop their potential for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success.  The Riverside FFA Chapter and Riverside FFA Alumni gives thanks all those individuals and businesses that helped make this event a success.  The Riverside FFA Alumni especially appreciates Don Davis and Jamie Martin for volunteering their time to serve as auctioneer.  Please visit this link, for a list of auction sponsors.  The 21^st Riverside FFA Alumni Auction will be held on November 20, 2010.  For more information about the Riverside FFA Alumni, please contact the Riverside Agricultural Education Department at Riverside High School.
